About Kiko
There isn't a word for everything. Not for every perception, feeling, emotion, or strange little thing that passes through us.
For me, drawing is a way of putting on paper the things I can't really put into words.
I grew up between Campinas and São Paulo, Brazil, and for the last nine years I've lived in New York, Hoboken, and now Los Angeles.
Since I got here, I've felt a little like I'm living inside a dream. The colors of the sky, the sun, the palm trees, the deserts, the strange light that makes everything feel slightly unreal.
A lot of what I draw comes from that feeling. Trying to capture something before it disappears.
Every print here is made to order on museum-quality paper. Limited editions are exactly that — once they're gone, they're gone.
